API 570, Piping Inspection Code: In-Service Inspection, Rating, Repair and Alteration of Piping Systems, requires that “the interval between piping inspection shall be established and maintained,” and should be based on several factors, including “corrosion rate and remaining life calculations,” piping classification, and other code requirements.
